Up next I have a signing at Chapters on March 17th, but that’s a ways away. If you can’t wait to get a copy of All These Crooked Streets (and I don’t blame you if you can’t) you can get them at Chapters Devonshire and Anchor Coffee House on Huron Line. They are likely going to be in Biblioasis soon too. As for me, I’m going to be spending the time getting The Thinking Machine out and working on the next novella that I hope to have out in June. There are some other minor writing projects I want to (and some I have to) get done in the middle somewhere, but they can take a back seat for now.

Along with writing, I’m hard at work on the second season of Flags and High Fives. Thankfully Arvin is doing a ton of work since I have my hands pretty full. I’m doing my best to keep pace, but he is much better at getting to work after putting his kid to bed than I am at doing anything after a long shift at the day job. I’m working on perfecting duk3wf3vqaa0rwrmy routine as nearly every night I have something to do in the evening slot (as well as the days all full). The exception is Thursday, but I’m usually in need of some recovery from Wednesday night’s gaming session. That’s not work related, but game night with a fun crew is worth a little exhaustion in my opinion.

My biggest issue at the moment is my weekends. That could even possibly include Friday, but the issue is mixed up schedule. During the week, most of my day job is set, but the weekends are all about rentals, so it could be a weekend free or a cl-open nightmare. (Cl-open being when you close and open back-to-back). I can make plans, but they may be changed, and any hope of a routine is tossed out the window. When I have the time off, Saturday is just another weekday writing session and Sunday is a chore filled extravaganza. When I work, nothing gets done and everything gets pushed back indefinitely. When I have the time, I like to enjoy some game time or TV time with my brother (we’ve got some shows we like to watch together), but between my schedule and his, it’s a gamble.

28056186_10156048588021411_3764935161833153401_nThat being said, it’s still all my fault. There is plenty of time that I spend doing nothing that could be truncated, making more time for writing (editing, layout, etc). I’m working on that. Action!, however, is over and I had a fun time (even though I had to go from there to a wedding shift at the day job). I got to meet some awesome people (and I am always lucky enough to do) and sell some books. It doesn’t get much better than that. But it does, because I got to be on a panel (number four for me, I think) and I got to go to walk around and check everything out on top of it all. I’m already looking forward to next year. I didn’t get The Thinking Machine done in time, but I only have myself to blame on that. (As always). There are a ton of cool pictures of the event on the facebook page, so you should check that out, and I’ll see you next week!
